The ledger, not the blog
Why this section exists, and what it isn't.
A foundry that publishes too much loses the thread. A foundry that publishes nothing forgets how to think in public. The Journal is our compromise — a small, slow ledger of the thinking behind the work, written down so that it has to survive contact with a reader.
We will not be writing here weekly. We will not be writing here on a schedule. The cadence of good work is irregular, and so is ours. Expect four to six entries a year, written in the same voice as the engagements: dense, specific, willing to be wrong out loud.
What you’ll find here is the part of the consulting that doesn’t fit on the Consultancy page — the prior decisions, the cuts we made, the ideas we tried and rejected, the disagreements that shaped a shipped system. If any of it is useful to you, take it. If any of it is wrong, tell us.
That is all the Journal is. A ledger, not a megaphone.
These notes are samples of how we think. The Consultancy is where that thinking is put to work.
